Scanning 20 pieces in one second, sorting 72,000 pieces in one hour-the intelligent logistics equipment independently developed by China's scientific research team has been widely used in several major domestic express companies. The warehouses did not overcrowded with goods for delivery, in addition to the efforts of the delivery guys; the smart logistics are also play a big role.

High-speed image recognition technology is the key. The R&D team started from the initial artificial intelligence processing image, iteratively innovative technology, effectively deal with barcode stains, deformation, blur and other issues, and improve the recognition accuracy to more than 99%.

The increase in accuracy by 0.5 to 1 percentage point means that there are tens of millions of packages that do not need to be sorted manually every day. During the super busy "Double 11", the system sorted and transported nearly 2 billion packages across the country, and its efficiency was 2 to 3 times higher than that of manual sorting.  

How long does it take to assemble a complete high-end server?

The assembly work of the server is not simple, and the fully automatic assembly line is often used for mass production of products with the same specifications and configurations. However, different users have different configuration requirements for high-end servers, and the orders submitted to the factory are also varied. How to improve efficiency?

What is the use of industrial wireless network standard formulation?

The ubiquitous Wi-Fi, through unified data standards, allows mobile phones and computers to easily connect to the Internet, but the realization of real-time interconnection between manufacturing equipment is limited by the working environment and performance requirements, and has not been effectively resolved. An industrial wireless network standard called WIA-FA will help the Internet information technology (IT) system and industrial control system operation technology (OT) system to deeply integrate, forming an industrial Internet, enabling smart factories to optimize deployment and control, and truly data-driven .

However, the technical systems of IT networks and OT networks are obviously different, and the development of application protocols and data mutual recognition faces many challenges.

For this reason, the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences took the lead in formulating the WIA series of national standards for industrial wireless networks for more than 10 years. Among them, the WIA-FA protocol conformance test specification will solve the interconnection and interoperability of WIA-FA wireless network equipment from different manufacturers will publish on February 1, 2021.


A director of the Shenyang Institute of Automation, said that the WIA technical system and WIA series of national standards with independent intellectual property rights will provide high-end solutions for intelligent manufacturing and help the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
